Dude Perfect

Dude Perfect

Dude Perfect

Garrett Hilbert:

Cody Jones:

Cory Cotton:

Coby Cotton:

Dude Perfect

Dude Perfect

Dude Perfect

Dude Perfect

Dude Perfect

Bell & Ross BR 05 GMT: The Ultimate Time Instrument For Urban Explorers

For decades, Bell & Ross has been synonymous with haute horology. What makes Bell & Ross stand apart from the top brands of timepieces? Aeronautical instrumentation is incorporated beautifully and seamlessly with modern functionality in the BR design. The latest model launched this year is no exception.

The third in the BR 05 collection, BR 05 GMT does more than epitomise the urbanite’s desire to escape from the shackles of the pandemic and to travel the globe. Its integrated design is ideal for any active, urban lifestyle with its precious finishes and robust comfort.

A must-have for the global citizen

With the convenience and connectivity of the Internet of Things, any distinguished individual today is a global citizen. One can no longer exist in only one time zone as our activities – be it leisure or business – would coincide with another part of the world’s. The BR 05 GMT allows such urban travellers to quickly tell the time of two countries with a graceful flick of the wrist.

This is made possible by the clever incorporation of two components. An inner dial gives the watch a 24-hour scale for one timezone on top of the main 12-hour dial for another timezone. To add this 24h-scale in the flange, Bell & Ross has increased the diameter of the dial and thus the 41mm case. The black semi-circle on the flange represents night-time hours while the grey semi-circle represents daytime hours.

The second component is the GMT hand – a prominent red arrow hand. It points on the 24-hour graduated inner bezel to indicate the time in the wearer’s country of origin while the white hands on the main dial indicate the time of current location.

The design detail of the dial serves two purposes. Firstly, the color scheme (white, black, and red) is representative of the Bell & Ross DNA and it famously echoes the colors used for on-board flight instruments. Secondly, it is to ensure perfect legibility both day and night.

The black background radiates a subtle sunray finish and contrasts with the large numerals, indices, and hands coated in white Super-LumiNova®. This color scheme is commonly used in the cockpits of airplanes as it guarantees optimal reading while preventing reflections on the dial. To further prevent the latter, the sapphire crystal of the BR 05 GMT is fortified with an anti-reflective coating.

A statement of strength, elegance, and contemporary chic

Being the mid-sized piece in the collection, the BR 05 GMT carries itself with soft solidity. Its 41mm case is large but measured, with alternating lines of elegant curves and strong lines. It is masculine yet subtle and relevant to the contemporary man.

The body of the BR 05 GMT is carved in satin-finished and polished steel, capturing the energy and soul of high-class urban life. At the same time, it echoes the strong metallic atmosphere of airport hangars with their metal, concrete, contrasting surfaces, and white lights.

The lines of the square steel case flow effortlessly down the lugs and bracelet as all the timepieces in the BR 05 Collection are designed to be a single solid piece. This look not only exudes elegance but offers great durability.

A dedication to robust comfort

Made from a combination of stainless steel and robust materials, the BR 05 GMT encases only the best and finest of Swiss watchmaking mechanics. Equipped with an automatic caliber BR-CAL.325 with GMT function, wound by a 360° oscillating weight, this new model reveals the beating heart of its movement through a sapphire glass case-back.

The bracelet is integrated with the case to create a unified piece which wraps ergonomically around the wearer’s wrist. Its articulated links offer exemplary flexibility, almost as much as the ribbed black rubber strap option. The BR 05 GMT is also waterproof, made to withstand up to a 100-meter depth. Further securing the robustness of this timepiece are its crown guard and sapphire case-back.

The BR 05 Collection

Bell & Ross first introduced its flagship features within this collection in 2019. After the 40mm BR 05 Automatic, the 42mm chronograph version (BR 05 Chrono) was launched in 2020. The BR 05 GMT comes in two varieties for the discernable urban traveller. Its stainless steel bracelet option retails at RM23,000 while its black rubber strap option is retailed at only RM20,500.

Bell & Ross watches are available at Bell & Ross Boutiques in Pavilion KL, The Gardens KL, and authorized watch retailers. For those who prefer online shopping, you may visit Bell & Ross’ e-boutique here. Complimentary shipping is available nationwide.

Zahid: Kerajaan BN adalah kerajaan terbaik #ms

Gambar: Bernama

PRU15 kita perbetulkan semula keadaan demi kemakmuran bersama. InsyaAllah…

Zaid Ibrahim: Najib as the next PM? #en

Photo: Malay Mail

By Dato’ Mohd Zaid bin Ibrahim

Najib Razak’s recent interview with Reuters was a  political bombshell of sorts; although many do not seem to recognise it. ( However Utusan Malaysia  recognised it; and carried the article  extensively.) For someone who has been convicted of multiple charges of breach of trust, abuse of power and money laundering and sentenced to decades in jail, his announcement that he might contest the next general election is startling and revealing in many aspects.

Najib dispelled this notion that he would be disqualified from contesting in the parliamentary election, a predominantly held view, because of his conviction. He challenged his disqualification, saying, “It is subject to interpretation on the law, the constitution, and whatever happens in court.” There is, of course, a constitutional provision that any person sentenced to imprisonment for more than one year or fined more than 2000 Ringgit is disqualified from contesting a parliamentary election.

Most lawyers will tell you that Najib can only contest if he succeeds in his appeal; or receives a royal pardon. But there is another possibility lurking somewhere which will enable him to contest. Section 311 of the Criminal Procedure Code do not allow for a stay of execution of a sentence, and an appeal does not operate as a stay.; but ” the court below or a judge may stay execution on any judgement, order, conviction or sentence pending appeal, on such terms as the court may impose …

Najib did not explain why he thought he would be able to contest despite the conviction, other than to say it depends on the interpretation of the law. He did not say that he had obtained a stay on the terms envisaged under the Criminal procedure Code. Mystery surrounds this revelation that he will be a candidate, but I am excited all the same.

How can I not be excited to see a rematch of the kind only Malay politics can serve. Dr. Mahathir bin Mohamad, I believe, still harbours the hope of being a three-time Prime Minister; and Muhyiddin Yassin will want to have another go after being dumped by some rebels within Umno. Anwar Ibrahim still wishes to be PM  and go for a last try. It will not be complete if Najib Razak does not join the fray. PAS will probably support UMNO( read Ismail Sabri -Najib Razak team), making Umno strong enough to form a government. It is therefore open for Umno to make Najib Prime Minister. What a comeback that will be!

Dr Mahathir, Najib Razak, Muhyiddin and Anwar are all renowned Malay political gladiators. It will be a missed opportunity if the public does not have a chance to watch the gladiators fight each other in another do or die combat. It will be a spectacle. I think it will be a battle royal this time, for I am certain it will mark the end of some of these gladiators. Perhaps only when the gladiators cancelled out each other and the prolong warfare eclipsed their political strength will the country emerge with a fresh younger set of leaders. Unconnected with the ties and  the wounds of the past.

Hopefully, the younger leaders have different make-ups. They could be from less aristocratic upbringings,  and  accustomed to living a simpler life, and do not have too much wealth. This does not mean there will not be a leader who will come from a Royal household. Anak Raja can be wealthy; at the same time, humble and willing to dedicate his life to helping the country grow. Who can forget the contributions of  the late King Bhumibol  of Thailand and   Palden Tongdup of Sikkim. In fact I hope some of the more outspoken  and assertive prince/ princess  from the Malay Royal household  will decide to join politics and be directly involved with the issues plaguing the country. Its one thing to reprimand and lectures politicians on their shortcomings; but it will be more satisfying to be a participant and player in the nation’s politics.

Someone with a strong religious upbringing will do much good, for religion brings values like humility, honesty, kindness and compassion.  That’s what true faith is supposed to do.  A religious person does not mean the Taliban type of leader; who wants to proselytise, convert, and impose so-called God’s laws in the country. A good religious leader cares about humanity, the environment and all God’s creatures, rich and poor; big and small. A fresh new leader who wants to do good for the country is now very much needed. Of course that has to wait for GE16; as the position of supremo will still be filled by the gladiators in the next general election.

5 Wealth Creation Hacks

One thing the arrival of an unforeseen pandemic taught us is that saving up does pay off during rainy days. With the economy now opening up, people can still enjoy their lives without worrying about what comes next, be it another MCO, pay cut, or losing their 9-5 jobs. Those without much savings had the hardest time while those with a little bit of extra money started worrying about the expenses of the coming months. It is no wonder many people are starting to look into various investment channels to grow their personal finances.

However, there are also a majority of individuals with a misconception that investing is very risky as they have witnessed acquaintances or family members falling into the trap of get-rich-quick schemes. With that said, it is crucial to first make sure that your choice of investment medium is safe and legit. If you’re interested to find out how you can generate passive income and work towards becoming financially free, here are 5 ways of investing that will surely help you to build your wealth.

1. Wealth Building Starts With You

The first step to building your own wealth is to take the initiative and do your research on different channels that will allow you to increase your personal financial value. It is also important to be open to learning new things as you will come across many information and knowledge that might not be familiar to you. Don’t be afraid to invest your time and effort when doing your investment homework as it will help you in achieving your goal of having a stable financial future.

2. Save a Percentage of Your Salary

A conventional way of saving up is to save a percentage of your monthly income. By doing so, you can see results in your bank account but the escalation to a higher amount takes a long time and a lot of self-discipline. The downside of this strategy is that not everyone is lucky to have a high-paying job that allows them to segregate their salaries every month for savings and expenses. Especially when businesses and workplaces these days are affected by the virus, it can be difficult for many to apply this method of saving for the future.

3. Choose Legit Investment Tools

One of the mistakes that many people make is that they spend their savings on online gambling, money games, MLM, and get-rich-quick schemes in hopes to double or triple the initial amount. In no time, you will realize that these worthless investments give you no control to maximize your investments as they are run by third parties. With that said, take your time to find out more on various investment tools and figure out what works best for you and is worth your time and money.

 4. Diversify Your Investments

There is a growth of interest in investment as more people are exposed to building their wealth through various mediums and are keen to stabilize their finances for the future. Some of these investment types include fixed deposits, real estate, and business ventures. However, the mentioned investments might not be made for everyone and might not fulfil financial expectations. For example, fixed deposits have lower risks but come with low-interest rates, making them suitable for a long-term goal but not a short-term one. Investing in real estate requires a lot of research and time, hence it is unsuitable for those who are not interested in property. Starting up a business or joining one demands full-time commitment and constant ideas to keep the ball rolling, but not everyone can do it.

5. Participate in Workshops That Give You Value

Join wealth-building workshops that can elaborate and teach you on the strategy of the 3 important steps of investment. From there, you will be able to identify great businesses, learn how to invest in them, and finally, generate consistent returns. It is okay to go in with zero knowledge as long as you have the interest to learn how to identify a good stock.

Reduce your financial worries by learning the right investment strategies to help you make better judgments when it comes to generating safe & consistent returns through stock investing. A simple and effective investing framework will be shared alongside tested and proven investing strategies and many more. Through this masterclass, you will also find out how you can invest in USD, earn in USD, and spend in RM. Rising star Yusuf Demir is earning his stripes as Barcelona’s No.11

Several legendary players have worn Barcelona’s No.11 shirt over the years, from Carles Rexach and Txiki Begiristain to Brazilian superstars Rivaldo and Neymar. Now, it belongs to Yusuf Demir and the 18-year-old is working hard to earn his Blaugrana stripes.

The winger was signed by Barcelona on loan from Rapid Vienna in the 2021 summer transfer window, with a purchase option that they could trigger next summer for €10m. When he arrived in Catalonia, Demir had already played 38 matches at senior level for the club from Austria’s capital, scoring nine goals and providing four assists in the process, plus he had just made his senior national team debut in March. Such a CV at such a young age had made him a nominee for the 2021 Golden Boy award, which recognises the best U21 player in Europe.

Given his young age, Demir was initially signed to play for Barcelona’s B team. However, he was so impressive in pre-season that coach Ronald Koeman promoted him to the first-team squad, following in Hans Krankl’s footsteps to become only the second Austrian to play for Barça’s senior side. His rising star status was confirmed further when the teenager inherited the prestigious No.11 shirt from Ousmane Dembélé, who switched to No.7 over the summer.

After wowing Koeman in training with his work ethic and his special left foot, Demir made his competitive debut for the Blaugrana away at Athletic Club in Matchday 2 of the 2021/22 LaLiga Santander season, becoming the Catalan club’s youngest foreign debutant in the league since Lionel Messi in 2004. More appearances have since followed and Demir has been one of the bright sparks in what has been a difficult start to the campaign for Barça overall.

Yusuf comes from a footballing family; his cousins Berke Kuvvet and Kerim Kuvvet play in Austria and his younger brother Furkan Demir is currently part of the Rapid Vienna youth system. And he has obvious natural talent. When he dribbles, arguably his greatest attribute, the ball appears to be glued to his boots as he keeps it so close, not letting opposition defenders anywhere near it.

There’s a lot more than just natural talent, though, as Demir has also been widely praised for his work ethic. That’s how he earned his promotion from the B team to a place in the first-team squad so quickly, taking pre-season as seriously as he would any other game and even scoring a goal in the friendly victory over Stuttgart.

Despite the rollercoaster past few months, in which Demir has suddenly found himself in starting line-ups for Barcelona, the youngster is keeping his feet on the ground. “It’s very intense and it took me a moment to adapt at first,” he admitted after his first competitive minutes with the team. “But then I got used to it and I’m very happy to have played my first match for Barcelona. I hope to play many more times for this team. It’s an honour to be at this club, a dream that’s come true and one that I worked very hard for.”

If Demir keeps working hard and keeps the good performances up, he can convince the club to extend his loan into a permanent deal. As a bright spark in an otherwise tough season so far, don’t bet against him doing just that.

Five things you might not know about Radamel Falcao

ATHLETIC CLUB DE BILBAO-RAYO VALLECANO PARTIDO

Falcao is back in LaLiga Santander eight years after leaving Atletico de Madrid, this time with Rayo Vallecano. The Colombian superstar has started with a bang too, proving that quality is truly permanent.

1. Falcao kicked off his second spell in LaLiga and career at Rayo Vallecano in tremendous form. The Colombian is just the third player in Rayo history to score in his first two LaLiga Santander games for the club in the 21st century. The first was Moises Arteaga in 2001, the second a certain Diego Costa in 2012.

2. His chosen squad number at Rayo (3) is an odd one for a striker, but one filled with personal importance. It was the number his father Radamel Garcia, a centre-back, wore during his career and is a tribute to the man who died in 2019.

3. In fact, his name is another tribute. His parents named him Radamel Falcao in tribute to former Brazil midfielder Paulo Roberto Falcao, widely considered one of the greatest Brazilians of all time and a long-time legend at both Internacional and AS Roma.

4. Falcao is known as ‘The Tiger’ thanks to a popular sports TV show back in Colombia, ‘El Tigre de Esso,’ ‘The Esso Tiger.’ During the early days of his career, River Plate teammate Gonzalo Ludeña – who is still a close friend – gave him the nickname which has stuck ever since.

5. Falcao may be a footballing superstar, but he’s a huge fan of another sport too: baseball. He lived in Venezuela, where his father played professional football, between the ages of 5 and 10 and developed a love for the country’s most popular sport.

In fact, in an interview with France Football back in 2019 he expressed his desire to play the sport once he retired from football: “I love baseball. When I was little, in Venezuela, where I grew up, it was the sport I practiced, at a very good level… I often talk about it with my wife. I think when I finish my football career, I’ll start one as a professional baseball player.”

This Week in LaLiga…

What has been going on in LaLiga this past week? Here are 10 of the top stories, from Asensio’s hat-trick to Ansu Fati’s long-awaited return.

Here’s all you need to know from a busy week in LaLiga which included back-to-back midweek and weekend matchdays.

Ansu Fati’s triumphant return

Barcelona’s 18-year-old superstar Ansu Fati hadn’t played since last November due to a knee injury, but the young forward was able to return to action on Sunday against Levante. The Barça fans at the Camp Nou were thrilled to see him back on the pitch, 323 days after his last appearance – and he even scored the third goal of his side’s 3-0 victory to earn a standing ovation.

La Real overcome the injuries

Despite missing 10 players due to injuries, Real Sociedad stayed strong and were up to the challenge, beating Elche 1-0 on Sunday. The Basque side have now taken 16 points from their first seven matches of the LaLiga Santander season, propelling them up to second place, behind only Real Madrid.

Three in three for Falcao

Radamel Falcao has had the perfect start to his Rayo Vallecano career. After scoring on his debut against Getafe, the Colombian centre-forward then netted a stoppage time winner in a 2-1 midweek victory at Athletic Club, before producing the go-ahead goal as Rayo overcame Cádiz 3-1 on Sunday. The newly promoted side are now up to fifth in the table – their best ever start to a top flight season.

Benzema hits 200

Real Madrid enjoyed a big midweek victory, defeating RCD Mallorca 6-1 – but that wasn’t the only cause to celebrate. Karim Benzema hit a milestone during the win: his 200th LaLiga Santander goal. The Frenchman is just the 10th player to ever hit that number.

Asensio’s hometown hat-trick

Real Madrid’s midweek victory over RCD Mallorca was also special for Marco Asensio. He celebrated his return to the starting line-up against his boyhood club with the first hat-trick of his Real Madrid career – which was also the first three-goal haul for any player this LaLiga Santander season.

Alavés’ first win comes against the champions

After failing to pick up a point across their first five matches of the season, Alavés finally tasted victory this weekend, against current champions Atlético de Madrid no less. A 1-0 win over the Rojiblancos meant Alavés were finally able to put some points on the board and to do so in impressive fashion.

Iñaki Williams matches Larrañaga’s record

This weekend Iñaki Williams matched the record the most consecutive matches played in LaLiga Santander history. It’s now an incredible 202 in a row for the Basque forward, who drew level with Juan Antonio Larrañaga’s record. Williams hasn’t missed a match since April 2016, an absolutely remarkable run, and will this coming weekend break the historic record.

Some good news for Getafe

With Getafe yet to pick up a point, it hasn’t been a good start to the season for the Azulones. However, there was some good news this week as Jakub Jankto’s injury isn’t as bad as it first seemed. The Czech winger had to be stretchered off during their clash against Atlético de Madrid in midweek and it appeared he may have suffered a leg break. Thankfully, that isn’t the case and Jankto’s injury is a sprained ankle, meaning he can return in just a few weeks.

Support for La Palma from across LaLiga

The Cumbre Vieja volcano eruption in La Palma has wreaked havoc on the Canarian island and has been a huge news story in Spain and across much of Europe over the past week. LaLiga, as well as its clubs and players, have expressed support for all those affected, Tenerife’s players have taken to the pitch with a message of ‘We are La Palma’ on their shirts, while other teams joined together behind a banner of ‘Strength and support for La Palma’ before kick-off in their fixtures.

ElClasico: it’s set

The date and time of the first ElClasico clash of the season has been set. FC Barcelona will host Real Madrid at the Camp Nou on Sunday October 24th, with the biggest club match in the world kicking off at 4.15pm CEST.
