Real Madrid’s renovation of the Santiago Bernabeu continues, and the club has just released a video looking at the impressive retractable pitch and storage system being put in place. The system would allow the ground to host lots of events other than football, including tennis, NFL matches and large-scale music concerts. As the video shows, the pitch system sees the grass divided up into trays which slide underground, revealing an artificial surface beneath. A great video showcasing one of the most ambitious and impressive stadium refurbs in world football!
